Gracie finds a place of her own!

Gracie our year old Doxie had a blast, first with all the sights and sounds of being at the lake, and too getting to spend some down time with me, Weenie doesn't mind tooo terrible.. (yeah right)... they did good though.. fit right in to our little family outing!

Nap Time! One great thing to do in the heat of the day, after swimming of course,, is taking a NAP! Here Marlee finds her a spot and hits the hay for an after noon snooze! She fit right into the dinette seat! HOW SWEET!

And more pics......

The kids all smiles at the campsite! We have a great bunch of kiddies! They enjoy being out with us so... all missing was Kelsey who spent the weekend with my mom, but planning on another weekend retreat soon with her! We worked out a few bugs and learned some things we did not know about our camper. All and all, we are truly happy with our purchase and plan on many happy years ahead!

More pics from campout....

More pics from First campout...... We love to spend time with our family and friends, and we have truly found something that we can all do and enjoy.... Pic two,, is of my tacky OWL lights! I love my tacky Lights!

First Camp Out 2007, Breaking in the new camper!

First Campout of the season was at Rocky Mt. Project's campground, We had a wonderful time. The weather was wonderful, the kids (and dogs) did great! Pic on the right is of Sarah Kate and Gracie , Weenie in the background. Pic two is when we first got set up.

Dinette Table Light...

Little homemade light for enjoying dinner, or playing cards or just sitting and shooting the breeze. I wanted something light, as it attaches to the bar above the slide out. Made of a galvanized tin bucket, a light kit, and just a 25 watt light bulb, the bucket never even gets hot. I love it!

A project for my awning poles.

When we purchased the camper from its previous owners, they had already made some awning pole holders, stabilizers for the camper. Made from concrete with a PVC pipe to hold the pole steady. I decided I wanted to dress it up a little, make it pretty. So here are some snaps of what I did to fix it up.......

First I found planters that matched our Pop Up's Canvas. I placed the concrete in the planter. Purchased some green floral foam from the local Walmart, split it into half and placed three around each pole (pic 3). Useing moss like stuff , filled in to hide the foam blocks and concrete.(pic 4)

Then using ivy floral I placed that in then the flowers. At first I had the flowers too tall, but trimmed it down a little for easier transport to the camp ground. I think it adds a little....
